Becoming Involved:
Becoming Involved | Cairde Muintir Mhuire is an association of supporters and friends of Muintir Mhuire. It was formed by friends, family and supporters to help raise the necessary funds to provide for Muintir Mhuires needs. Its aim is to provide material support for the building of Muintir Mhuires first Purpose built Community in Ballybutler, Co. Cork. Members also help to make people aware of Muintir Mhuire and promote its aims. Our Main support is through Prayer and we thank you for your continuing Prayers. Also You can Help us through Referals , Fundraising, volunteering or Financial Support. |
Referals
● Send a friend a Message or gift from our special E Prayer directory. Not only is this a pleasant Gift to receive but you are helping spread the work of Muintir Mhuire.
● Refer Muintir Mhuire to corporate, banking, industrial, retail, construction, pharmaceutical, or similar businesses that would like to support a new proactive charity benefiting from tax relief..
● Refer a company to become a Corporate Champion, that would like to partner or be involved in many different ways,- therefore company donations, gifts in kind, funding for specific projects and staff engagement can be tailor-made to fit your company’s needs.
● Provide support through Service Provision where individuals or companies would provide their services to the charity.
Fundraising
● Invite a group of people to undertake the commitment to raise funds for the
Construction of Our New Community in our Ballybutler project.
● Host an event e.g., Garage sale, sponsored fast, Auction of Household Goods, Coffee Morning, Flag Day, table quiz, or organize your own event.
● For Sports enthusiasts, a Race Evening, Local Walk, Golf Classic, Cycle, 5km road race or even a sponsored swim or marathon.
● Hold a music night, be it a classical quartet, or monthly recital, to a concert, we will assist you with the procedure.
● Leave us a Legacy, Bequest or a Gift of your choice, there are many ways you can help us.
Volunteering
● Become an Ambassador Your role will be hugely beneficial in helping us to reaching more people across the country, helping us to raise awareness.
● Host a Muintir Mhuire Presentation evening and introducing the work of the charity to your friends or colleagues, spreading our brochure and leaflet.
● Become involved in the organisation or facilitating of a Fundraising event.
● There are many volunteering positions that you can help with and we are grateful for you support.
● Help us Building Our New Community Development at Ballybutler, Cork.
Time Out

Dear Visitor, In our first six years we have cared for over 50 young people all of whom are now doing well. 75% have returned to successful employment, 15% have returned to education and 10% are still involved with us. We have full planning permission on our own 6 acre site in Garryvoe. We urgently need our own permanent accommodation and are seeking support for this. Please view the Testimonies and Results Link on the Home Page to see what previous members have to say. I am available and would welcome the opportunity to give you a presentation on this work.
