Fr. Donal and four community members move in to house

Great Progress as the community resides in Ballybutler for the first time.	Volunteers plant shubbery and build stone wall.	The entrance archway to the outside Chapel.

Our laneway now with privacy.	The Chapel is now complete and Prayer resumes in the original chapel after re construction and damp proofing.

Divine Providence supplies everything from, People, Scaffolding, Machinery, stone, slate even the meals for the workers !

PLastering as John admires the camera.	John o Leary from wexford who has now come bi-weekly to help us in any way that he can, Thanks John.	A nice smile tells alot.

Internal works at Ballybutler alot of work on an old house

New Timber studing.	Care has to be taken as some of the old walls are made of mud.	This room will provide room for 4 people.

Paudraic and Patrick volunteer to spent 5 weeks on insulating the house to a very effecient standard.	Pero from Bosnia comes to perfect the original stonework.	Every inch is insulated ( well done ) as its often a difficult job.

Paul and Dennis spend 5 weeks plastering.	The stove drying out the living/kitchen	Patrick paints the whole house and thanks to Dulux and Dwyers for the supply of Paint.

Douglas Fir exposed beams	Fr. Svetozar admires the work.	A bedroom almost ready for occupation

Blocklayers come from Wexford and Castlelyons.

Where the new meets the old.	John and Ian enjoy working in the sun.	Local carpenter John Walsh comes and strips the roof.

Another carpenter Tosh O Donovan comes from Saleen to construct roof.	All help out where possible.	Scaffolding is provided by O' Sheas builders in cork.

An old Fireplace kept and restored.	Fr. Peadar has been a great help throughout.	Donal and Gerry start on the Slating.

Liam and Francis Gallaher ( carpenters) From donegal come and stay for 10 days.	PLasterers come from cork and are helped by Michael Manning.	Another carpenter comes from Cork and travels down daily with Keith.

In July volunteers keep coming , Plumbers Eirland Renewable Heating come from Thurles

Thank you to all who supplied meals during the build.	Early stages as we demolish the front of the house.	Pilako Pilako they say in Medjugorje, Slowly slowly

Eamonn, Paudraic and diarmuid come and start work at 5am till almost midnight and continue for 3 days.	The house is plumbed in a very effecient manner.	Paudraic ensuring no heatloss through the floor.

In 3 days they lay almost 1 kilometer of piping.	Eamonn fits the manifold for underfloor heating.	The new floor is now laid for throughout.

it was a very hot 3 days.	Ready now for concrete.	Thanks to all who helped

October 2011 St. Lukes Medical Project are able to fill a 40ft container and a double articulated Lorry for export to Bosnia.

24th June 2010 Work begins in Ballybutler with 2 Volunteers, a big plan and a strong Faith in Divine Providence.
